Parent Liaison Officer
Supporting a student through distance education can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly for families who are new to Charleville School of Distance Education or unfamiliar with distance education systems and processes. The school recognises these challenges and offers support.
If you have questions about your child's subject or lesson work, your first point of contact should be your child's teacher. However, if the teacher is unavailable, or you would prefer to speak with another staff member, families are encouraged to contact the Parent Liaison Officer (PLO).
A key role of the Parent Liaison Officer is to support Home Tutors and families. This role provides assistance with a wide range of queries and concerns. Through open communication, the Parent Liaison Officer can help address issues directly or connect families with the appropriate support within the school or the Department of Education.
Families are welcome to contact the Parent Liaison Officer at any time to seek advice, raise concerns, or share suggestions.
