Thargomindah Remote Secondary Learning Facility
A partnership between Bulloo Shire Council, Charleville School of Distance Education, Thargomindah State School and Department of Education.
Darling Downs South West Region (DDSW) of the Department of Education and the Bulloo Shire Council have signed an agreement to establish a Remote Secondary Learning Facility for local students enrolled in Years 8–10 through Charleville School of Distance Education.
The facility is located in the grounds of the Thargomindah State School and is providing an up to date learning environment for junior secondary distance education students from around rural and remote Thargomindah.
The facility was opened by Her Excellency Ms Penelope Wensley AC, Governor of Queensland on Monday 27 February 2012.
